Hello!
I am Francesca, a BA (Hons) and Masters of Architecture graduate and curretly working as a freelance architectural designer in London and the South East.
As of graduating from De Montfort university in 2024, I have continued to work with clients located in East Midlands and South East London on residential projects starting back in June 2023.
I hold 5 years of university experience, 2 years studying Construction and the Built Environment, and 1.5 years working in practice directly with senior and director level architects within the residential, commercial, leisure, hospitality, and conservation & Heritage sectors. I am now offering a range of services for small to medium sized businesses or individuals, and keen to produce creative and innovative work, and pruodly present work my clients to take proposals forward to make their ideas a reality which help meet their visonary goals.
Experienced with a broad spectrum of programmes, namely: AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Enscape, Lumion and Microsoft applications.
I am deeply engaged in social and sustainable solutions in design and enjoy working on projects involving preserving and reusing existing building and structures, which is why I have dedicated myself to work towards becoming a chartered Specialist Conservation Architect.
My work has been recognised and highly regarded by partners and senior associates from world-class and leading AJ100 practices, such as Foster + Partners, ADP Architecture, Donald Insall Associates, Purcell and ECE Architecture
I was invited to Foster + Parters in 2024 to participate in a group model making workshop, where we created an elegant, contemporary boating museum for our client, Uber Boat, and presented the final proposal and models to the client and partners.
Winner and recipient of the 2022-24 RIBA Part II Notley Bursary
I was selected from thousands of applicants and awarded £6000 from the RIBA and senior architect donors who recognised my skills and commitment, and wished to help talented students navigate their way through university and setting up for a successful career ahead
